Aviation Industry Training

Eswatini Aviation Training Institute (ESWATI) is involved in the development of capacity in the aviation industry. Recognising that the majority of potential clients come from a constituency that has not been exposed to this mode of transportation, ESWATI is a multi discipline company that aims to provide understanding of aviation from grassroots level. This involves giving potential clients a taste of what it is like to be an air passenger even without a particular destination (local sightseeing air tours). This would be followed by tours to specific tourism destinations initially in the SADC region. This led to the establishment of the Charter Airline

It is anticipated that some of these first time fliers will be interested in taking up different careers in the aviation industry for which they will require internationally recognised training, hence the establishment of ESWATI Main Campus at Damaseko. .

Seeing that ESWATI is a 21st century institution, it would not be left behind in participating in the exploration of new aviation technologies. Hence ESWATI UAVs wing of ESWATI which deals initially with the use of drone technology in the agricultural sector and the training of UAV pilots. These drone pilots will end up obtaining a Remote Pilot License from the aviation regulator ESWACAA.

It is envisaged that the Charter Airline, ESWATI and ESWATI UAVs will generate lots of work for supporting the set up of a separate company dealing with Multi Media (Photography and Video production) Company. These companies are collectively a system that has the potential to reinvigorate the local aviation industry. This will make aviation to be a major player in the Eswatini economy.
